About Us
TGWATCHES was born from a spark of inspiration in the heart of a young boy when founder Telvin Gyamfi received his very first stainless steel watch at the age of 13. A gift from his father in Ghana, the watch symbolised more than just a way to tell time—it was a mark of love, a coming-of-age present, and a reminder of the most valuable resource we all share: time itself
The excitement of that gift stayed with Telvin, even after the watch was lost on a school trip, leaving a sense of disappointment but also a determination to one day return the favour to his father. That promise would grow into something much bigger over the years, shaping his vision for the future.
In 2020, Telvin’s long-held dream was reignited, spurred on by the events of the time. With the world around him at a standstill and time with loved ones becoming more precious than ever, he realised it was time to fully pursue his passion. With the support of friends and a deep sense of purpose, Telvin designed his first watch, the Dreamer. This timepiece is a tribute to those who dare to dream, symbolising the courage to chase aspirations and the power of time to turn dreams into reality
Seeing the joy on his father’s face when he received the first Dreamer prototype confirmed what Telvin had always known—his journey was just beginning. Since that moment, TGWATCHES has expanded its range, launching the luxury men's collection ROYAL, with a women’s collection soon to follow, set to be unveiled at the end of the year.
TGWATCHES is more than a watch brand; it’s a mission with a purpose. Inspired by the opportunities he’s received since moving to the United Kingdom, Telvin is dedicated to giving back. Through a partnership with the CASS Foundation in Ghana, TGWATCHES contributes to building schools and funding children’s education, turning dreams into investments in a brighter future. Telvin Gyamfi's brand also supports the Akropong Children’s Sickle Cell Clinic. A portion of every TGWATCHES sale directly funds these initiatives, making each watch a symbol of hope, purpose, and positive change.
